I’m on a Junk Boat

Chinese Junk Boat

I’m on a Junk Boat!

As I mentioned in my Hong Kong Skyline post, one of the most iconic Hong Kong images are the red sailed Chinese Junk Boat. On my last day in Hong Kong I decided to take a nice little cruise around Victoria Bay on one of these Junk Boats. Unfortunately for me there was a typhoon off the coast of Taipei making it too windy to put the red sails up.

After my junk boat cruise ended I was hungry, so I decided to venture out and find a sushi spot. I went to two different places that were both temporarily closed. I finally ended up back at the ICC and the W hotel.

Dim Sum

I went to Sing Yin Cantonese Dining for dim sum. The menu was extensive, so I chose steamed dumplings, a pork bun, and a waygu steak bun. The Waygu steak bun was by far my favorite. It was very juicy and flavorful. They also brought out some amuse bouches of smoked duck, a spicy pepper in oil, and tomatoes. The duck and spicy pepper was delicious!
