Everywhere we went in Hawaii was like a painting you would see. I fell in love with the big island and need to find a way to get back.

There is no question Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. The natural beauty is reason enough to visit Hawaii. During our recent visit to the big island and Oahu on our week-long stay in Hawaii, we took thousands of photos each one more beautiful than the last, but the following 25 photos are some of my favorites, and I hope they inspire you to visit Hawaii.

Hawaii is full of natural beauty. You can find it downtown in Honolulu or deep in the jungle of the Waipi'o Valley outrigger canoe on big island of Hawaii Surfs up on Waikiki beach Feeling the power of the sea at the makapu'u tidepools in honolulu hawaii An Iconic lighthouse atop Makapu'u Lookout in Honolulu Hawaii Never seen so many beautiful blue tones as in honolulu hawaii You have to be inspired when you look at the beauty of the hawaiian coastline in honolulu hawaii Every sunset was magical on the big island but this one at the four seasons hualalai was especially spectacular The hula is a traditional Hawaiian dance that has movements to interpret the words of songs Crystal clear waters mean Hawaii is a perfect place for scuba diving and snorkeling Even though there are about 70 black sand beaches in the world the beach at Waipi'o are secluded and not crowded perfect to truly enjoy your experience Manta Rays are gentle giants that can grow up to 18 ft across Keauhou Bay is one of the manta's favorite spots where you can dive with them nightly The manta rays of kona hawaii are acrobats and can be seen doing flips over the light boxes to capture as much plankton as possible Probably the coolest thing we experienced in Hawaii was being able to get so close to these beautiful manta rays The varying terrain of the big island was one of the most surprising yet beautiful things about the island The Four Seasons Hualalai was easily the best resort we ever stayed at. The grounds were immaculate, the service was impeccable and the food was oh so delicious. Being just a little smaller than the state of Connecticut the Big Island, we were never closer than 80 miles from the active kilauea volcano, but the Vog reached us the day we were out fishing Being able to experience the place sand beach at Waipi'o was so amazing even though I slipped twice on the path A trip to Hawaii wouldn't be complete without spotting a gigantic rainbow! We left Hawaii feeling inspired. Inspired to create, inspired to live to the fullest, and motivated to do more to conserve so that our great-grandchildren can one day experience how beautiful Hawaii and the rest of our planet is. I hope these images help inspire you to visit Hawaii.
