There is no shortage of luxury hotels and boutique hotels in Miami Beach. We have also been fortunate enough to stay at a few of them, but no hotel in Miami has impressed us the way that 1 Hotel South Beach did. From the amazing room to all of the healthy food options. The 1 Hotel South Beach combines sustainability with style for a perfect Miami Beach boutique hotel experience.

1 Hotel South Beach Review: Check In

The afternoon we arrived in Miami Beach the lobby of the 1 Hotel was buzzing with excitement and energy due to the final day of Longines Global Champions Tour on the beach behind the property. Even with all the chaos, the staff was organized and we were checked-in quickly. Our room wasn’t yet ready, so we stored our bags and went to the main pool to wait. The 1 Hotel South Beach was one of the techiest hotels we have stayed at from the recyclable wooden room keys to the complimentary google phone in each room technology was in use everywhere.

1 Hotel South Beach Review: Amenities

We only had the pleasure of staying one night at the 1 hotel south beach, but we did our best to make the most of the amenities offered at that time. Like I mentioned above, each room had a google phone where you could message guest services to get help with your luggage, make dinner reservations, or anything else a concierge would do for you. By far my favorite amenity at the 1 Hotel South Beach was the adults-only rooftop pool! We had no idea it was adults only when we spent the afternoon at the main (family) pool, but after chatting with one of the guest services employees I made sure to get some time up at the rooftop pool the morning we were leaving. The 1 Hotel also features a fantastic spa, a huge state of the art Spartan gym, and Soulcycle to sweat out the previous night’s drinks.

Breakfast at Habitat did not disappoint

You know a luxury hotel review is incomplete without trying some of the food options the hotel has to offer! 1 Hotel South Beach has 6 dining options including two poolside options. It was refreshing to see how many healthy food options were available at the 1 South Beach. Since our stay was short we were only able to try lunch poolside at the Sand Box and breakfast at the signature restaurant, Habitat. Both options were fantastic! the 1 also has a coffee and juice bar in the lobby and a vegan restaurant called Plnthouse for more healthy dining options! The drinks at The Sand Box were also fantastic!

Now that we got all of the exciting stuff out of the way we can talk about the amazing rooms at the 1 Hotel South Beach. We stayed in one of the 1 Hotel’s studio suites. First impressions when we opened the door to our suite was awe. The comfortable minimalist design had everything you would need for a short stay, or if you wanted to stay a month. There was a full kitchen with high-end appliances including a washer and dryer, space for at least 6 to dine and some of the most comfortable couches I’ve found in a hotel room!

You can’t beat the 1 Hotel South Beach’s location! It’s perfect for watching the sun come up over the Atlantic Ocean

When it comes to location in South Beach, the 1 Hotel couldn’t be better. Located right in the center of Miami Beach you could walk to many of the popular restaurants or nightclubs. The 1 Hotel South Beach also has 600 ft of private beach where you get waited on hand and foot from umbrella drinks to an afternoon bite to eat.

There are so many luxury hotels and boutique hotels in Miami Beach that it can be a bit overwhelming. 1 Hotel South Beach exceeds expectations in every review category. I haven’t stayed in a hotel in Miami Beach that did every aspect of guest experience as well as the 1 Hotel does. In fact, I’m not sure if we have stayed in a hotel anywhere that I was so dreading leaving because the experience was just that good. There are plenty of great options for luxury hotels in Miami Beach, but I think that the 1 Hotel is the best hotel in Miami Beach.
